Many of today’s challenges are explained as systemic problems. But if a problem is systemic, what can we do about it?
The deeper issue is relational.
Many of us have had our relational awareness trained out of us by an overemphasis on the functional. We no longer know how to relax while alert, able to reshape relationships among functional parts to sustain the resilience of the whole system.
‘Not Everything Is an Existential Threat’ offers one way to address this.

We have separated the coaching of space, time, and timing from the coaching of technical, speed, and strength skills.
