Without a perception of the whole we can’t see how moving parts are reshaping the whole, so new opportunities emerge as current ones fade. We can see how parts are moving to continually generate something greater than the sum of its parts. We can’t embody the principles of Gestalt—what is beautiful, true, and good—the essence of the full human experience. A healthy brain is a cohesive whole.

Thinking outside the box we attain performance beyond our reach. We find other ways we can’t yet see. That once seen we wonder why we didn’t see it before. A Wow moment.
