Embody the full human experience
Recall the childlike joy of connecting as a whole without an algorithm directing us. Connect to experience something greater than the sum of the parts. To embody Gestalt. Experience what is beautiful, true, and good. Embody the full human experience.
________________________
To embody the full human experience requires a sustained connection to the whole while executing parts. But learning parts lowers the ability to connect as a whole.
To avoid limiting the human experience to trying harder to execute the parts, we separately train the perception of the whole. We embody the full human experience.
By looking at the connections between all the parts, we perceive the whole. We embody the whole by moving to provide a teammate with an option as their own dwindles. This is why we play basketball and swim.

# Assessing Winning Teams in Sports
In my view, two crucial factors influence which team will emerge victorious in any sport.
## Individual Skills
The first factor is the players' individual abilities.
## Cohesive Whole
The second factor is how well players embody a shared, cohesive sense of whole. This involves how effectively they support each other when individual options become limited, allowing the team to transcend the mere sum of their parts. This idea is often referred to as **Gestalt**.
The team that successfully merges these two aspects is the one that claims victory.
For example, a cohesive whole can outperform a team with slightly more skilled players who lack unity. On the other hand, a team with significantly higher individual talents may still succeed even without strong cohesion. When both teams rely heavily on personal skills while demonstrating minimal unity, we frequently observe players clashing and looking to referees for direction. Ultimately, we want to experience sports as a cohesive whole.
