The cohesive whole is a calm, continuous layering of unfolding options that finds a way. Outcomes follow. The most significant obstacle to maintaining this cohesive whole is ego. When role players put too much attention on playing the parts that star players and coaches want them to, nobody is paying attention to the whole. It's worth taking time out to train the perception of the whole.

In 1994, I was among the first to explore which aspects of face-to-face communication could be transitioned online. Upon discovering that these are all social interactions that can be measured, I redirected my focus toward training skills of relationships of connections that can only be felt and never wholly measured. Coincidentally, these skills correspond with those necessary for fostering team chemistry in sports: the ability to enhance the intangible relational bonds between players.
