Health, meaning, and performance depend on three related factors: the ability to function at the required level, the ability to avoid injury, and the relational awareness to continually reshape how functional parts relate to one another as a whole. When function is overemphasized, every decline in function—and every injury—can feel like an existential threat to performance.
My book is free and can be read online. "Our greatest existential threat is everyone losing awareness of the relationships that connect every part to the whole."
In the 1990s, while working as a business analyst, I explored how we could collaborate online by separating functional connectivity from face-to-face interaction. Later, I focused on training the relational aspects of face-to-face interaction for people who could connect only functionally. Now I run LifeSkills21.club
