Most of us know, CONNECTION is as important as everything else put together.
If we are stagnating, it will most likely be down to how we are connecting.
When you connect by playing a fixed part, in a fixed sum of the parts, you will expect everyone to fulfill their parts so that everyone can benefit from the overall outcome. While this may seem like a connection, it is the bare minimum of what is possible. It is a comfort zone. Although having something to aim for makes this arrangement more bearable, it does not eliminate the feeling of stagnation.
It can be painful to be excluded from playing a specific role in someone else's predetermined scenario. You have the option to risk rejection and seek another fixed part to play. Or, you can carve out your own understanding of the world and connect with those whose thoughts align with yours. You create a new comfort zone. Although having something to aim for makes this arrangement more bearable, it does not eliminate the feeling of stagnation.
To escape this stagnation, consider embracing the concept of Gestalt. By loosening the ties between interconnected parts, you allow connections that create something greater than the sum of the less fixed parts. When the constraints of perfection are lifted, a never-ending pathway of continuous improvement opens.
Experiencing a Gestalt requires you to read how all parts are separate, different, and interconnected. This allows you to recognize when someone is nearing the end of their options, and at that pivotal moment, you present an alternative they were unaware of. It creates a deep sense of connection.
Participating in a Gestalt involves effectively communicating to everyone involved what you are about to try to do. Then wait to see how everyone reacts. Once you've observed the effects, you do what were about to do, or communicate that you are going to do something else, and keep this process going. Through these evolving connections, actions that we didn't know were available appear. Imagine running into the unknown, connected to people who you know will appear in the moment they are needed.
